Best Triple Chocolate Brownies (ever!)

According to my daughter anyway 😉 These chocolate brownies are definitely up there on her list of favourite sweet treats. They are just the right amount of sticky, packed full of chocolate, and irresistible when warm!

We chopped up some white and milk chocolate to add in to the already fairly chocolatey brownie mix, but you could add smarties, chocolate drops or nuts if you fancy.

There’s something comforting about sitting down with a super chocolate brownie and a cup of tea (or hot chocolate if you want to stick with the theme). Perfect quick chocolate fix, they don’t take long to make at all. My daughter decided to bake this batch and they were done super quick and cut up while still warm so we could enjoy them sooner.

We use this brownie tin as we make brownies so often, but if you don’t have a specific brownie tin, don’t panic! A shallow sided cake tin or small roasting tray will also work. Make sure to line the tin with grease proof paper to make it easier to lift the brownies out. When they are still warm they are very soft so it’s far easier to transfer the whole lot from the tin onto a cooling rack using the paper. Once cooled the paper peels away easily.

Let the brownies cool slightly, then cut them into squares with a sharp knife
We cut our brownies into large squares, but if you want to make them last longer you could cut them into smaller pieces
Before I took this photo at least 3 brownies had been eaten, they really are irresistible!
